Our year 6 pupils enjoyed a science lesson at Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthew’s Academy as part of their preparations for high school.
Our Head Boy, Head Girl and two prefects attended the Local Democracy Event. They had a great time visiting The King’s Hall Stoke and finding out more about democracy and what it means for them.
We visited Christ Church to celebrate harvest. Our donations were given to The Salvation Army.
Throughout the academic year 2015/2016 we have held a number of family learning festivals in school. This has been our opportunity to share the great work that we are doing in school with parents and carers.
Year 4 visited Gladstone Pottery museum to find more about their own local history and why the Potteries is a great place to live. They had a great time and even had chance to make their own pottery works of art.
We held our own party to help celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday. we sang the national anthem ate lots of cake and had a really good time.
Our Key Stage 2 pupils finally got the opportunity to show off their athletic abilities on a very warm June morning. All children had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the event. Thank you to Our Lady’s for the use of your field.
Our nursery and reception children really enjoyed their day at Wonderland meeting the characters they have been reading about in their books.
Well done to our Nursery children who enjoyed their very first Sports Day. All children, parents and staff had a great time. Thank you to our year 6 children for their help.
Our Year 4 class performed brilliantly as part of Dance 2016 at the Victoria Hall, Hanley. The children were a real credit to our school. Thank you to Chloe and Emma from Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College for their help with the choreography.
Our year 1 and year 2 pupils had a great afternoon on Friday 20th May showing off their sporting skills. Mums, dads and teachers even got involved. Thank-you to Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School for allowing us to use their sports field.
