Poetry Day

To help celebrate poetry day, each class visited our school library to listen to poems read by Mrs Hopwood.

Bling your Bike, Snazz up your Scooter!

As part of our work on encouraging children to cycle or scoot to school we held a Bling your Bike competition.  Thank you to everybody who participated.  We really enjoyed seeing your creations.

Storyteller “Walk to School”

Our walk to school became a bit more exciting when a Storyteller joined a number of our families on a daily walk from Albert Square, Fenton.  It was a superb way to start the day.  

Jack Brereton MP

We were extremely proud to welcome Jack Brereton MP back into our academy.  He was given a very thorough guided tour by Christina and Aaron and had a Question Time like discussion with our Y6 prefects.

European Day of Languages

In September we supported the European Day of Languages.  Our nursery children immersed themselves in German for the day.

Key Strings

After a long wait, we welcomed Key Strings back to our academy to perform a superb concert to all of our children.  How wonderful it was to enjoy live music again.

Celebrating Harvest

It was great to be back at Christ Church to celebrate harvest.  Thank you Fr Tommy for making it such a special occasion.

Spring and Summer Term 2021

Although the academic year has been disrupted due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, there have still been some great things happening in our school.  Below are a few of our highlights.  

World Book Day March 2021

To support World Book Day we all dressed as our favourite book characters.  Children and staff also entered a Mr Potato Head book character competition.  There were some amazing creations!
